Spider Solitaire Rules
The goal of Spider solitaire is to remove all cards in play in the fewest possible moves. Arrange cards in the same suit from King through Ace to removed them from the board onto a foundation pile.
There are two main ways to play it, Spider or Spiderette. The main difference is that Spider consist of two decks (104 cards) and Spiderette one (52 cards).
The board is divided into two sections.
The main part consisting of 10 stacks (7 if Spiderette) is called the tableau. Your goal is to arrange cards in the same suit, in descending order, from King through Ace. Once a sequence is completed it will be moved onto a foundation pile.
The upper consists of two piles, called stock and foundation. Click the stock pile deal cards and put them face-up on each tableau pile (no stack may be empty to deal a new row of cards).
You can move a card:
- Move a card and put it on top of another card with the next highest value (regardless of suit or color)
- Move a card and put it in an empty stack.
- Move a set of card at the same time if they are of the same suit and in sequence.
- When you've managed to create a sequece from King through Ace, they will be automatically moved to the foundation.
Win by completing all foundation piles, clearing the tableau from cards.
